Lockhart's x WHANG Mustache Wax is a new, water-based take on modern mustache waxes. A strong hold that washes out easily. That was the ultimate goal. Typically, strong waxes remain waxy for days. Washable waxes usually offer little grip and do nothing to stop an unruly mustache. Lockhart's were able to combat this using similar methods used on unorthodox water-based pomades, only they had to increase the fixatives and waxes to boost the hold x10. In doing so, they have created a mustache wax that is easy to apply, easy to rinse off your hands, has a firm hold and is easy to wash out!

Bonus: It smells AMAZING! Lockhart's used a classic custom scent called "1 Billion" which is "1,000 times better than its counterpart".

How to use

Put a small amount of wax on your fingertips. Warm wax between fingertips to fully emulsify. Apply evenly to mustache and comb through. For tight curls, apply more to the ends and curl to your liking. To use in a beard: Put a small amount of wax on your fingertips. Emulsify warm wax between fingers. Put some water in your hands to dilute the wax and distribute it evenly throughout the beard. Rub dampened palms through beard with fingertips. Brush the beard into the desired style. Repeat for extra hold.

Wer es nicht zu wachsig haben möchte

Habe mal aus Spaß meinen Schnurrbart etwas länger wachsen lassen als sonst, war aber nie wirklich ein Fan vom typischen Schnurrbartwachs, da die sehr präsent für mich bleiben. Grade bei meinem super widerspenstigen Bart wo ich etwas mehr anwenden muss, kann das echt nerven auf Dauer.

Bei dem hier ist es nicht so, ein schöner Kompromiss. Mein Schnurrbart hat den Tag über seine Form behalten ohne sich wachsig anzufühlen. Klar, beim typischen Bartwachs hält der Schnurrbart mehr die Form. Aber es war für mich besser, als gar keins drauf zu haben. Hier ist weniger mehr, wenn man zu viel benutzt kann sich ggf. eine weiße Schicht auf den Schnurri legen, bei mir hat eine ganz kleine Spitze vom Finger an Wachs gereicht. Hat nicht geschuppt und konnte gut mit Bartbürste/Kamm durch.

Der Duft ist echt angenehm, leicht süßlich aber frisch-würzig, also keine Angst... das brennt einem nicht die Nasenhaare wie 1 Million weg. Es bleibt für eine kleine Weile in der Nase, vergisst man aber nach einer gewissen Zeit bzw. verfliegt dann. :)
